Empathy--Peter is a human sponge. He can literally absorb all supernatural abilities by being in the immediate vicinity of the person. It is unknown how far away the person has to be. Usually, he calls upon the powers by remembering the person and how they make him feel. After his amnesia, it does not look like he needs to call on his emotions anymore. Initially, he has great difficulty controlling his powers, and normally can only use one at a time.

In the game, it would be significantly more favorable if he were modeled after Rogue. He would still absorb the abilities of other heroes, but only for a limited amount of time (one day) and he would only be able to absorb up to three abilities per day. He would still have to call upon emotions in order to use his powers, but only one power at a time.
